I have had the opportunity to collaborate with Ms. Gonzalez on the planning and execution of two of the awards ceremonies held in observance of National Crime Victims' Right Week, both involving the attorney general and one involving the president. Due to the difficulty in planning around the schedules of two such prominent public figures, both events experienced numerous last-minute changes, particularly involving the ceremony dates.
In spite of the extraordinary pressure in organizing this and last year's events, Ms. Gonzalez remained calm, clear-headed, and professional during every phase of planning. The many elaborate touches were testaments to her careful attention to detail and the immense pride she takes in her work.
