Tisa Nava is a Certified Government Meeting Planner, a member of good standing of the Society of Government Meeting Planners.
Ms. Nava comes from a background of high level Sales & Marketing in the Hospitality & Tourism Industry. She was Director of Sales in the hotel industry for 20 years, during which time she developed and mastered skills in planning, executing, managing, and maintaining client needs and often times spearheading her clients' conferences and meetings of which she had firsthand knowledge from repeatedly taking care of these same annual meetings for her clients throughout her career.
Ms. Nava retired from the hospitality industry in 2004 and has since continued to service her clients as a certified independent meeting planner.
Ms. Nava has been in the Washington DC arena for most of her career and is knowledgeable of the requirements, limitations, and expectations of the Federal Government contracts for meetings and conferences. She continues to apply her expertise in seamless planning, thorough execution and masterful management of her meetings and conferences. Her corporate management experience ensures professional, customer service oriented, and professional teamwork amongst her staff thereby translating to successful events and meetings.
Ms. Nava makes time to be active in civic and community projects while maintaining her total commitment to professional duties.
